DA pull (told you I use it for bullseye and pin shoots!) Yes, that's a trigger overtravel scew in the rear of the trigger guard. Next-stupid simple to do a home brew trigger job on it-also getting a Wolff low power hammer and trigger spring will help too. The didn't even charge me return freight either time. Last issue was a timing issue 2 years ago-called Ruger, they said send it in, I get it back 2 wks later, new parts, not hassle, no fuss, no questions asked, NO CHARGE (nor the first time back to them in 1994 either for a cylinder jam issue when it got hot after lots of 357 rounds in a session) Tough guns and Ruger service is great but I have had mine back to them twice in 38 years.-mine has 2K rounds of 357 and 4K rounds of 38 spl through it. Get the gun! I still have my first handgun-1978 Security Six 6" stainless.
